a question to Landscape Material Experts
i am i little bit confused.
What is the difference between LandscapeCoords and World Aligned. Look at the picture:

WorldAlignedTexture projects the texture 3 times in XY, YZ and XZ projections and blends them. As a result, you are not getting stretched textures on vertical surfaces, but paying roughly 3 times more performance cost.
LandscapeLayerCoord node just gets landscape UVs.
I accept that. I am not glad to 100%, but now i get a better feeling with that and i can proceed with my work.
About the “3 times more performance” i still have a solution. Just make my own World Aligned Function and kick out all the unneccessary stuff.
