Did unreal engine need high speed internet to download it from Epic game launcher?

i had download Epic game launcher , when i clicked Install engine button it give me “please wait” under version and do nothing , so my question is it need high speed internet to download it ? , or What is the solution Please respond quickly.

Hi medo medo,

If you don’t have high-speed internet, it will likely set on ‘Please wait’ for quite some time. An engine version is several GBs so the faster your connection is, the better. With that said, you should still be able to download the engine, it will just take quite some time.

If you continue to have issues downloading through the Launcher, you may want to consider downloading and compiling from the source code through GitHub.
