I’ve been looking at dialogue systems but many of the tutorials seem to feature conversations between the player and an NPC. I’m after something that I hope is much more simple.
Currently, I have a setup that goes like this.
Player walks into a trigger box > plays sound at location. Currently I’ve edited a long two way conversation together as one sound file.
This has worked thus far, but doesnt seem to be the right way to do it, especially as I now need to spawn new triggers once a player returns to an area.
Does anyone know of any documentation or advice that will provide what I’m currently after. I’m trying to keep things as simple as possible at the moment because the small game I’m working on is mostly there and I’d rather complete the project and then follow some more advanced tutorials on dialogue at a later date.
