Short Description (for search listings)

Stop spending weeks on localization. DGOne Localization integrates AI translation (OpenAI, Claude, Ollama) directly into the UE Editor — batch-translate your entire project in minutes, review inline, compile instantly. No external tools. No file juggling. Just open, click, done.

The Problem Every UE Developer Knows

You've finished your game. Now comes localization. Export CSVs. Send to translators. Wait two weeks. Get back files. Re-import. Discover broken keys. Repeat. It's a workflow that hasn't changed in 20 years — and it shows.

DGOne Localization changes that entirely.

What It Does

DGOne Localization is a professional editor plugin that plugs AI translation directly into Unreal Engine's native Localization pipeline. One click runs the entire cycle: gather source strings, send to your AI of choice, review results, save archives, compile .locres — all without leaving the editor.

It's not a workaround. It's a complete replacement for the old export-wait-import loop.

Three AI Providers. Your Choice.

Most localization tools lock you into one AI service. DGOne doesn't.

OpenAI-Compatible — Works with GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Azure OpenAI, and any /chat/completions-format endpoint. If it speaks OpenAI, DGOne speaks it too.

Claude (Anthropic) — Native Anthropic Messages API integration. Claude's long context and instruction-following make it excellent for consistent game terminology translation.

Ollama (Local Models) — Run Llama 3, Qwen 2.5, Mistral, or any Ollama-supported model entirely on your local machine. No API key required. No data leaves your network. Ideal for licensed IP projects or studios with data privacy requirements.

Switch providers per project in two clicks. Keep your API keys in Project Settings — UE handles the rest.

Built for the Way You Actually Work

The Dashboard lives in your editor, docked wherever you want it. It shows every translatable string in your project — source text, existing translation, status — in a searchable, filterable, editable table.

  • Filter by Untranslated, Translated, Suspicious, or Pending Delete

  • Search across namespace, key, and content simultaneously

  • Edit any translation inline, directly in the table

  • Select specific rows and translate only those

The Log Panel shows every API call as it happens — timestamp, result, any errors — so you always know what's going on.

Auto Flow chains the entire pipeline: Gather Text → Translate → Save → Compile. One button. The whole project, localized, compiled, ready to package.

Quality Controls Built In

AI translation isn't perfect. DGOne knows that. The plugin automatically flags:

  • Empty translations — when the AI returned nothing

  • Unchanged translations — when output matches the source (likely a refusal)

  • Refusal patterns — "As an AI, I cannot..." detected and marked

Suspicious entries are highlighted in the table. Review them. Edit them. Delete them in bulk. Or re-translate just those rows with a different prompt. The QA workflow is already built in.

CSV Import / Export

Need to send strings to a human translator? Export to CSV in one click. Get the file back? Import it. Translations flow back in automatically, matched by namespace and key. No manual copy-paste, no reformatting.

DGOne plays well with existing localization workflows — use AI for the first pass, humans for the final polish.

Full UE Localization Pipeline Integration

DGOne doesn't bypass UE's Localization system — it accelerates it. Under the hood:

  • Reads Localization Target configurations directly from your project

  • Calls UE's native GatherText commandlet to collect source strings

  • Reads and writes standard .manifest and .archive files

  • Compiles .locres using UE's standard pipeline

Your project stays standard. Other tools and workflows still work. Nothing proprietary, nothing locked in.

UI Available in English and Chinese

The entire plugin interface is available in both English and Chinese, switchable with one click. Built for the global developer community.
