Development Build - OculusAudio could not be found

This is the same problem as here: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/233586/plugin-oculusaudio-module-could-not-be-found.html

But it’s back in 4.9.2. I redownloaded the source from scratch and tried to compile under Development x64, and I get this error.

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Can you provide screen shots of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?
  4. Could you provide the exact error that you receive when trying to package?

I would like to point out that I did try enabling the plugin in clean project and I did receive a failure to build. However, I did not receive an error message like the one in the post that was linked.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Download release branch from github (4.9.2)
  2. Run Setup.bat and generateProjectFiles.bat
  3. Open VS solution
  4. Select “Development” and “x64” for configuration manager
  5. Press “Build”

I noticed that you built using the Development configuration instead of Development Editor. Could you try building the Engine in Development Editor and let me know if you still receive this error?

It works if I build “Development Editor,” but then I can’t package the game from the editor for Windows.

  1. Are you using the OculusAudio plugin for the project?
  2. Could you provide the steps that you are using to package the game so that it is preventing you from doing so when you build in Development Editor?
