Hey, everyone.
I’m in the process of setting up our store page, getting the artifacts and binaries all set up. Meanwhile I also attempted to redeem game keys to test out the uploaded build through the Epic store. They keys are accepted as unlocking the game, but it never shows up in my Library. Is there a step I’m missing? I’ve redeemed three different keys and they all yield no results. Is there a step I might be missing?
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Hi Eric,
When redeeming a key in the Dev or Stage sandbox, the account must have access to that private environment in order to use the game entitlement.
There are two ways to gain access to a private sandbox and deployment:
-
Invite the account to your Dev Portal organization, and grant the account access to the product in question. Access to a product in Dev Portal automatically grants permission to all of its sandboxes and deployments.
- Create a Player Group with access to the necessary sandboxes and deployments. For this option, you will need the Epic Account ID (also displayed on this page) of the account. This option is typically used for individuals outside of your development team.
After you have granted the account access, they will need to exit and restart the Epic Games Launcher so that these permissions can take effect. The Dev/Stage instance of the game should then be displayed in the Library.
Thanks,
Andy
