Hello everyone,
Since I was able to participate MegaJam 2021 and successful to build and submit my project. But I failed for judgment. I planted not to participate this anymore. But, well here we are.
The reason I have that thinking because after Jam I don’t know anything about what was not good. I even don’t know if my project was violate some rules or it was reachable to judgment or not. I don’t know my score and anything to help me improve for next year, etc… I do something but I can’t get any result. Felt waste of time.
But it was good experience. My project may too confuse and difficult, may UI too simple, or game play is boring… Anyhow I tried with my best.
News about MegaJam this year just feed me up and when I know about the theme that make me want to try to make something. So I started to do it because I love and want to do. Judgment is not too important anymore.
I’m exciting to have this seven days journey, and good luck to all participants.

Hi @vuphan.art !
Congratulations on the completion of your game!
I really love the concept, the game title, and I’m a sucker for word games! Does this play similarly to classic Hangman puzzles? The UI is beautiful, by the way. It reminds me of old school arcade displays. The muted color of the surrounding display brings out the brilliance of the colors and characters of the game.
What was the most fun aspect of this challenge? Did you learn anything that you had not known before?

Hi @Get_DOVAH_it
It’s riddles game. Use Sea Jellies to grab letter above the sky then drop into the sea to fill answer for riddles question. Here is real gameplay footage:
What was the most fun aspect of this challenge?
I always have fun when making games. This challenge give me a chance to meet many new people as you. I love it.
Did you learn anything that you had not known before?
Yes, a lot of cool submissions that make me learn a lot of things. I was go through entire 525 entries. Some people doing solo but they make like big project more than me just in 7 days. I wish I was brave enough to go for bigger things. But I choose this safe scale of project to able finish it in 7 days.
Thank you Get_DOVAH_it for feedback. I’m appriciate it.

Hi vuphan!
Ah, I see! Thank you so much for the gameplay video! I understand much more clearly now.
Wow! You went through every single entry?! Amazing! Whether or not you believe it, the scale of a project does not equal its level of fun or playability. The larger the scale of a project, the more room there is for bugs or imperfections. This isn’t to take away from anyone who has created a large project, but simply to point out that it is okay to stay within what you feel you are capable of, as you know and come to learn your limits. Look how simple Flappy Bird was, and it amassed millions of dollars! You used your own creativity to produce a project that you can be proud of, that you have learned from, and that you enjoyed!
Now that you have learned things that you haven’t known before, you can challenge yourself a little more and more - until you reach the point that you are able to scale up your projects! Never be afraid of a challenge. Challenges are what lead us to growth!
