In general, about how long do you set aside to develop individual systems in blueprints?
As an example, an Inventory / Weapon system. Not including animation, meshes, materials, or separate characters, etc.
That depends entirely on the complexity of the system.
A “system” that supports interacting with objects when you get close to them? A day.
A “system” that supports customizable characters with inventory and shopping? Several months.
