Dev-Rendering branch still missing on Github, any update on that please? [RESOLVED]

1.5 months ago, you finally made it so that the individual branches are available on Github. What a great change, finally! It took a few days for most branches to appear, but after a week or so all the branches that are not available there were available. That’s:

Dev-Anim
Dev-Core
Dev-Editor
Dev-Framework
Dev-Geometry
Dev-Mobile
Dev-Networking
Dev-Niagara
Dev-Sequencer
Dev-VR-Editor
Dev-VR-Mac
Dev-VR

Just one major branch is still missing, 1.5 months later. And that’s unfortunately the (for a graphics engine) most important one, **Dev-Rendering! **

Could you please give some update on when that one will finally be available on Github?

Thanks!

We’re also missing these:

dev-console
dev-documentation
dev-enterprise
dev-online

But, they aren’t as interesting…

Dev-Rendering should be pretty interesting one.

Agreed, it would be great to see the Vulkan work as it is being done.

@Kalvothe

Please check on this for us Thank you :slight_smile:

@Amanda.Bott
@4894-tim-hobson

So right now, we don’t have a date that it will be pushed to Github.

Sorry for the delay getting you a response.

Is there any specific reason why this one can’t be mirrored?

Could you please elaborate on why this branch specifically seems to take way longer than the others?

Let me get more details on this for you, and get back to you. I suspect it should soon, but let me dive further!

Thanks you very much!

Any update on this @Kalvothe

Not as of yet, but I will continue to chase this.

Thanks,

Is it maybe that dev-rendering is under NDA because of new nvidia RTX stuff being integrated? If yes why don’t you just say that?

If I find out that is the case, I will let you know.

That could be the case, yeah!

Did you find anything out yet?

I’m still very interested in dev-rendering finally becoming available.

The obvious conclusion from this silence is that the NDA even covers talking about the existence of the NDA :smiley:

dev-rendering is now on GitHub.

Someone beat me to it, but I am excited to share that dev-rendering is now available.

Thanks for your patience, all!

Thank you, very much appreciated.
