Modular Cardboard Castle and Village Environment Kit
A modular medieval cardboard environment kit for building castles and villages. The pack includes a broad set of castle and village pieces: basic walls, damaged walls, outer walls, gates, square towers, round towers, walkways, stairs, ramps, roofs, floors, dock modules, market stalls, mill pieces, furniture, signage, lighting props, rubble, and other decorative items.
The included prefabs make it easy to drop in complete village structures, while the modular meshes can be recombined into custom castles and fortresses, settlements, villages, arenas, tabletop-style worlds, or stylized adventure spaces. They are also perfectly suited for the "miniature vibe".
The Cardboard material is a procedural triplanar shader (This means it will work with any mesh, right out of the box), with parameters for scale, roughness, damage, dirt, height, tearing, corrugation strength, blending and color variation. I have also included a physics friendly triplanar material (which doesn't deform with actor movement).
The decal system (BP_SurfaceDecalStamp) adds another layer of customization: use "crayon" graffiti decals, package labels, arrows, warning marks, crayon drawn paths, edge wear masks, breakup masks, tinting, fading, scratches, residue, and dirt to make surfaces feel used and unique. The dedicated Blueprint lets artists place and tune decals in the level without rebuilding materials. It supports random decal selection, graffiti or label mode, surface alignments, size controls, projection depth, rotation, mirroring, opacity, tint, roughness, and multiple wear controls. This makes it quick to stamp unique details across cardboard walls, props, towers, and set pieces. It is super simple to add new decals to the tool, a tutorial is included.
Use this pack for stylized fantasy games, "tabletop" inspired levels, toy like castles, cozy adventure scenes, cardboard worlds, platformer environments, dungeon-crawl spaces, village hubs, or playful medieval battlegrounds.
