Detecting markers, then adding local coordinates for scale?

Hello,

i’m working on a building reconstruction project using only photogrammetry.

Prior to shooting images, we have placed markers on the scene and measured coordinates with a total station (the result is x, y, z coordinates in a local coordinate system).

Detect markers works well and all of markers are detected.

What is the fastest way of importing list of coordinates, and connecting these informations with detected markers?

Hi Ivan,

did you detect the markers within RC or with an external app?

I detected markers with “detect markers” command in RC.

The x,y,z coordinates were surveyed on site with Stonex R1 total station.

I never used markers but I guess they produce tie points or ground control points in the end?

You can then just import ground control points via txt file.

If your points have the same names in the file RC might be able to integrate them with the already existing ones but if not you’d just have to drag and drop the info (images) from the detected ones into the imported ones using the tree menus in the 1Ds window.
