On the details window on the very left of the boxes is a tiny line. You can click to move the line with your mouse to reveal the labels
It does not resolve my situation 
I was having a similar issue to this working on an Editor Utility Widget with a details panel. This was resolved by changing View > Column Width to the default value of 0.65
