Destructive Mesh taking to long to settle

I made a simple static mesh and destructible. But it takes ages to settle, any ideas or simple solution?

Looking at your video it looks like it’s not the DM that is the issue vs the complexity of the DM itself. It looks like you’re using upwards of 500-1000 fracture pieces for your DM.

The slow-down I’m noticing is the CPU trying to do the calculations to keep up. With the PhysX for Destruction it’s not running on the GPU but instead on the CPU. Having more pieces means more calculations and can cause the slow down you’re seeing. If you were to use less pieces, for example around 25-50 vs what you’re currently using you would see a vast improvement in the DM fracture.
