Destructible mesh support depth not working?


I’m using UE4 4.19 trying to set up a wall with more than 1 support depth.

Apparently UE4 now comes with apex destructible as a plugin you can check to turn on, but despite turning this on i cant get more than 1 support depth in my mesh. Here’s an image of my settings.


When i try to crash through the wall, i get one hole then the whole thing becomes solid and unbreakable. Upon further research i found out that the old Nvidia destructible physics was replaced with Nvidia Blast, do i need to use this instead?


Or am i just overlooking something simple, thanks!
