Destructible mesh only fractures on initial impact

I’ve been trying to get a destructible mesh to break up partially around multiple impact areas. I’ve been able to get it to stick together after the initial impact (aside from the impact area which fractures) but the mesh will no longer continue to fracture on subsequent impacts. It just become completely solid no matter how hard anything hits it, or how low I make the damage resistance (without it just collapsing on the initial hit).
