Destroyed House

Hi there.

We are in pre-production for a survival horror game, and we are aware of the of need of some old and decayed houses.

How would I make realistic smashed windows, broken doors, cracked staircases?

I hear it might be through geometry editing, although I’m going to need further help.

You can create destructible meshes from static meshes (right click any static mesh). But this is for things like boxes and barrels, otherwise you have to model the meshes inside a 3D application such as Blender. Or you can look for existing 3D models which include destroyed model themes.
