This desert rock planet pack features a Advanced automatic landscape material with tessellation and a fully configurable material system in 250 instructions. It includes 11 8K landscape maps to get things started. It also features 10 preconfigured preset instances of the automatic landscape material. There is a blueprint included which has 32 rocks in it that utilize also a tessellation material and feature temporal dithering in order to blend seamless with the landscape or other objects. There are five pieces of scaffolding included to get a sense of scale. There are 50 landscape painting brushes with a 1 k resolution included In order to make editing of the landscapes or creating entirely new ones easier and quicker. These 50 textures result in a total of 200 usable painting alpha channels saved in the R G B A values of the textures. All textures for the landscape material are provided with a 2 to 4 k resolution. While this has been designed with good performance in mind it is advised to use it in projects aiming at end users who have graphic cards that handle real-time tessellation well. If you’re looking for something with more legacy platform support consider one of my older packages which feature a nice backwards compatibility. The textures are set up in a way where the normal map as well as height maps get reconstructed out of a single texture source in order to minimize the amount of textures this makes the setup up to four times more efficient when it comes to memory usage and performance.
