Deployment parsing error

Hi, I currently try to make a cardboard app for an assignment.
Packaging the project works fine, but installing it on my phone always reults in getting the error message “Parsing error. While parsing the package an error occured” on my phone display.

I’m using unreal engine 4.14.3, installed Android API 24, Android NDK 12b and JDK 1.8 with code works. My phone is an huawei honor 7 with android 6.0.

I would be glad to receive some tips

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. If you use “Launch on” are you able to test the project successfully on the device?
  2. Have you been able to install any projects (including blank ones) successfully in the past?
  3. Could you provide your complete logs so that I could take a closer look?

thank you for your reply.
Because of your second question, I tried it again with a blank project und set everything up like it is written in the unreal engine documentation about google cardboard projects and it worked. Also with later added content.

I must have forgotten to check some boxes, although I was sure the settings were correct, because I checked them at least 10 times the last time I tried :smiley:
