Demo photo limit

I cant seem to find info on this but I assume there is a photo limit to punch through the software for the demo. I tried 2680 photo’s and it only partially displayed what I was looking for and then I tried 2499 photo’s incase the cap was 2500 and it displayed the same partial particle cloud not the whole thing. Any ideas?

Hello Thomas!

What you mean partially displayed? Not aligned or you can’t see some of them in 1D/2D image list view?

it repeatedly shows the same half model rather than the whole model. I cant imagine its lack of data as there is a tonne of that. there was no difference in the model displayed when throwing 2700 ish photos at it or 2499 photo’s. Basically we only get the front half of the model and it does not do anything of the other half no matter what info we give it. which made me wonder about a photo limit.

Hi Thomas
so you first used 2,700 images, aligned them, then you added 2,400 images and aligned them, and you got only partial alignment as the result ??

Hello Thomas,
in left panel you should have selected 1Ds view (aka treeview). After alignment there should be one or more components (in 3D view you can see only one -currently selected- component). There is also info how many cameras are in every component.

Can you see how many Components you have in 1Ds view?

will have to check when plugged computer back up and yes I am only getting a partial alignement. I have bought the promo so will see what happens from here and if I get the same problem

Ok I was being silly :stuck_out_tongue: it was to do with multiple componants, thanks for that
