My game is tiny, size wise but my project folder just grows in size all the time.
I’ve worked out I can delete everything in the saved subfolder except config (deleting that resets all the UI changes I’ve made etc) and it saved me 900mb
I know size isn’t that much of an issue these days, but I rar my directory and upload to mega.co.nz for backup.
I’d like to see a “delete temp files” menu option or something
This is even worse with the DerivedDataCache. That thing balloons to like 50GB across a week or two of work. And since UE4 defaults itself to my C drive, I’m racking up and deleting hundreds of GB of data from an SSD every month.
It does sort of feel like UE4 isn’t very fond of cleaning up after itself.

A small workaround for that can be found here: http://www…com/tutorials-ue4-quick-first-tips/
