Deleting LandscapeStreamingProxies

For past month I was fighting with landscape creation. For some reason my old landscape at one point during development dissapeared. I had to delete it and create new one and had to sculpt it all from scratch.
Creating Landscape and converting the scene to World Partition took around 2 days, and my scene FPS reduced dramatically from 60FPS to 8. I have decided to disable World Partition, then delete landscape, I must have created it with too high resolution of 8K. Sculpt tool worked also dead slow. I managed to apply landscape material only sector by sector too.
Converting the scene to World Partition crashes editor.
I tried to delete landscape a number of times now, Editor simply doesnt do anything just remains frozen, no matter how many hours I leave it like that, CPU load 7% RAM 50%
So no matter what I do, try to delete whole landscape of pice by piece, editor just stays frozen and doesnt do anything.

Please help.

same here looks something wrong with deleting landscape…

Known issue :frowning: Remove Landscape

solution is in there. In short:

  • Select landscape in outliner.

  • Select all or a subset of the landscape proxies and delete them. Save all.
*repeat these steps until all landscape proxies are deleted

  • Select landscape in outliner

  • Select all regions and delete them. Save all.

  • Select landscape in outliner, delete it. Save all.

It may be needed to close the editor after save all, to remove references that are not cleared.
