I attempted to remove Unreal Engine version 5.3.2 from my MacBook Air. However, when attempting to uninstall the program, I received the following message: “Please close all instances of Unreal Engine to uninstall.” Nevertheless, I have not opened any instances of the Unreal Engine, nothing is open, and when I try to open Unreal Engine, the following message appears: “Xcode Not Found Unreal Engine requires Xcode to compile shaders for Metal. To continue, install Xcode and open it to accept the license agreement. If you install Xcode to any location other than Applications/Xcode, also run the xcode-select command-line tool to specify its location.” I cannot find Xcode anywhere, and when I try to install anything related to Unreal Engine 5.3.2, it simply says “In Queue,” with no download displayed. I have waited for three hours, and it still says “In Queue.” When I go to installed plugins, it says Quixel Bridge is running, is it open or what does that mean?
Can anyone help me with this problem? I would be grateful for any assistance.
