Deformed fbx mesh when I import in UE5

Hi.
Could someone explain me where I am wrong when I import a FBX mesh from 3DS Max to UE5 ?
The mesh in 3DS Max appears ok, when I import the mesh into UE5 it appears deformed.

I looks like you have “triangulate” on in the fbx import

This is my FBX export configuration. I don’t have “triangulate” flagged but the problem is still there.

look at the ue import settings for the mesh
there is triangulate and also “combine”
and possibly disable create collision in ue on import
and create it after

Are you collapsing the stack, and resetting scale/tranform before exporting from Max?

The issue is related to nanite.

Under the import settings, scroll down to build settings, and disable the build nanite option.
