Deformed alembic

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to export an animated lion from maya to Unreal as an alembic file but it get completly deformed and with weird offset between the body and the claws… until I put the “animation sequence” in the “Anim to play”.

It won’t be such an issue if I didn’t have to bind the mane’s groom to the skeletal mesh !

Second issue, UE4 doesn’t recognize the UV map (model is perfectly unwrapped), I get this error when I try to bind the groom to the skeletal mesh : “Binding asset could not be built. The target skeletal mesh could be missing UVs.”

Everything fits perfeclty inside Maya (and 3ds Max too), I don’t get it.
