DefaultSpriteMaterial not appearing in 5.7

Hi. For some reason, the white circle doesn’t appear anymore in Unreal 5.7 for the DefaultSpriteMaterial. I checked 5.3 and 5.4 and they both showed the white circle. All of them have the same settings (Surface, Additive, Unlit) but only 5.7 doesn’t show anything. Any clues why?

small fix for now. had to change it to deferred decal, translucent (disabled substrate materials in project settings), unlit
