I’ve been trying to make it so you hear this static during this game, once you get to the end of this hallway, the static stops. I’ve used Audio Components to try to accomplish this. However, I can’t set the Default Value, which in another forum, is vital to it working. (I tried it without the Default Value, and it didn’t work.) I see it on the Audio Component, but when I press the button to pull the list down, there are no sounds, not even the starter pack sounds. I made my WAV file a sound cue, but that didn’t work either. Also, the WAV file is up to UE4 recommendations. Please help!
Two months and no answer, huh? I’m not normally one to post about these things, but I’m getting the same problem and this is the only mention of it I’ve seen anywhere.

I had the same issue where I could not set the default sound and play the audio component. It appears that audio components in UMG are not supported according to this link: Audio Component don't in UMG Widgets? - UI - Unreal Engine Forums
So I moved the audio component to the actor and played it from there.
