I am finding that the default jump in the third person template is way too floaty for my taste. Do I need to write my own custom jump functionality to rectify it or are there some parameters I can tweak to make it more realistic? Gravity multiplier seems to do the trick but that seems hacky and for all I know it might lead to funky physics behavior down the line.
it’s actually very easy!
just go into the character blueprint and increase their gravity (do a filter for “gravity”)
I use 2.8 or so for more realistic jump and falling
So there are no adverse effects in increasing the gravity multiplier? Awesome, thanks.
Can’t find that option in Unreal 4.12.5
