Hey UE community. I started learning UE4 last week and I made a basic game that I want to publish on the google play store. However, I did not make my own character and instead used the default blue character provided by the basic templates when creating a new project.
Do I need to make my own character in order to publish?

As far as i know, no, you can use this Blue Character. You are allowed to use everything from
Epic in your UE4 Games. Even commercial (so if you are earning money). But make sure to
notify Epic Games that you are going to release the Game. Even if it is free!
This is correct. It should be noted that any assets with the Unreal logo or other Epic logos are not included in the assets that are free to use. Blueprint, as we like to call him, is perfectly fine to use in your final game.
