Dedicated Server Not Registering on Steam Server

Hello,

I’ve built a dedicated server that uses Steamworks and uploaded it to AWS for testing.

When I open the ‘Servers’ window in Steam the dedicated server doesn’t show (under Internet).
However, if I run a game client and type ‘open steam.90XXXX’ (where 90XXXX is the steam OWNINGID) it connects fine.

Anyone know why it doesn’t register with Steam servers?

If anyone else comes across this - it turned out to be port related.

Make sure to open both server Firewall ports and AWS ports.

Steam requires TCP/UDP 27015 and UDP 7777 open to work.

What engine version are you using? I am having trouble getting my dedicated server to work with steam.
