Dedicated server compile if started with pre compiled engine version

How is it possible to cook a dedicated server for the game if the development was started on a precompiled version of an engine and not using engine build from source manualy.

As of today you can’t.

If you really want to have the DedicatedServer build to run your game, you must use GitHUb source and build it. It seems to be something that Epic is looking for but no other option as of today.

On the other end, you can still launch a dedicated server with the launcher build but it’s not optimum.
