Decrement node STILL BROKEN IN 4.8.3

I’m really starting to loose faith in Unreal engine. Decrement blueprint node is still broken months after being reported??? Come on guys. I just wasted another few hours on this. This is incredible. I’m really considering switching to Unity. This is an obvious and simple bug for you guys to fix and you continue to ignore it.

DecrementInt node has been fixed for 4.9, and you should be able to check it out in Preview now if you’d like. We tried to get it into a 4.8 hotfix, but it was only discovered as broken in 4.8 and we weren’t able to make a content change without risking breaking other things. Hotfixes are generally reserved for unavoidable crash bugs, but we did get it fixed for next version (4.9).

There’s a post here that details a simple fix for problem in 4.8.
