Decals On Translucent Materials And Blood Splatters On Skeletal Meshes. Best Technique To Use?

Hey all,

So I’m at a point in devloping my game where I want to start adding things like blood splatters or damaged glass from bullet impacts. I’ve got normal bullet impacts working through decals, but I’ve come to discover their some special rules with Translucent materials or with Skeltal Meshes that prevent you using decals on them

I was just wondering what the best alternative solutions people have found and used themselves?

Bumping this up as I’m also looking at doing something similar with decals on translucent materials
