Decal Response DBuffer Not Working on MegaScan Surface

I have a highlight object system and my object is receiving my highlight decal nicely, but so is the Megascan landscape surface I am using. I went into the Parent Material of the Material Instance of my landscape and changed the Decal Response DBuffer option to None, but the landscape is still receiving the decal. Any thoughts on why this is? Searching around I couldn’t find another possible solution other than the Decal Response to None option. Is the Parent Material the right spot to change the Decal Response in this case?

So I was able to find the solution to this. I had made a Landscape Blend Material in the process of painting out the landscape. I just had to change the Decal Response to None on this Blend Material not the Parent Material of the Megascan.
