DeadSpace Study

Deadspace has a pretty unique UI. How could someone replicate the ADS system that Dead Space has? I’m familiar with line traces but when it comes to lining up the focus of the camera to the lines coming off the weapon I’m not sure.

Example:

When aiming try decreasing the FOV to give that zoom effect, then off of the line trace save the hit location as a variable.
Next set the camera’s rotation to ‘Find Look at Rotation’ (Start: camera location, Target: line trace hit location). Then adjust the spring arm’s offset to get it lined up behind the weapon. Let me know if this helps, or if you need any more help!
