Can someone please make some sort of video tutorial on how to make a rig that lowers as your health does. Exactly like how the developers did it in the Dead Space Series. That would be amazing
The ‘rig’ system is basically a material applied to a mesh inside of the rig tube.
Basically, the material gets the current health and divides it by the maximum health.
This value is then added to a linear gradient and then floored.
The floored value is the material’s alpha/opacity output.
This is an example of it.
You can look up how to set material parameters from blueprint on google as I remember there being an article done on it.
