Hello everyone,
I’ve released a new Blueprint-based Unreal Engine tool called DCS_CineMultiCtrl.
It is a Blueprint-based asset designed to speed up cinematic workflow by letting you control and randomize animation playback across multiple actors directly in Sequencer.
The goal is simple: make it much faster to set up background characters or groups of actors without managing each actor manually one by one.
What it does
- Controls multiple actors from a single setup
- Randomizes assigned animations across actors
- Speeds up iteration for cinematic scenes
- Works directly with Sequencer
- Keeps the workflow simple and practical
Best use cases
- Background characters in cinematics
- Faster setup for repeated animation variation
- Multi-actor scene control in Sequencer
- Lightweight cinematic production workflows
Included
- Blueprint-based controller system
- Demo setup
- Example level
- Quick start documentation
Engine version
- Unreal Engine 5.3+

Feedback is welcome:
- Would this be useful in your cinematic workflow?
- What would you want to see in a future update?
- Would you prefer a minimal version or a more advanced version later?
