You can use any material on them to suit your requirements such as water material, orange juice material .etc. Since these are actual mesh based simulations lighting is realistic and accurate. You can change material instance properties to make any liquid you wish.
All effects use vertex color therefore, they have no textures which makes them use less GPU memory. Also, runs very well on average CPUs which makes them superior to other fluid or smoke simulations that uses particles.
Important: These are Geometry Cashes of Fluid Simulations imported into Unreal Engine in Alembic format. NOT Niagara or other particle effect. These effects won't interact with the environment like real-time effects.
You can customize the material of Alembic assets as needed. If the Single Layer Water material doesn’t suit your use case, you can use a standard translucent material instead.
The screenshots and videos shown are from assets included in the pack, so you can achieve that exact look. The issue where two single-layer water materials aren’t rendered properly is an Unreal Engine limitation. To work around this, you can use a translucent water material for the background water body or for the alembic effect itself.
