This is the install i have setup.
Where does the intermediate file location need to be set so the file will transfer to Unreal because the default folder or a copy of it on another drive doesn’t work.
The file location i have set here for the intermediate file seems to be wrong because Unreal doesn’t detect the file where it used too in older versions prior to versions 5…
The Plugin shows up as installed in both editors.
& here
Here in Unreal engine and i also have it installed to the version folder too.
SO why do i keep getting QTcore4.dll file violation access errors when trying to use any of this bridge.
I changed paths for the Daztounreal file & copied what was on C drive to D drive so it’s all exactly the same as the default setup would be on C except it’s now all on D drive.
I goto use the most recent version of the unreal Plugin which is.
I start the transfer as usual.
After that i get to ready for the final export here.
Now it should now port into Unreal after accepting but i get this happen.
Only to keep getting this DLL error on every install i make.
I just downloaded the most recent plugin for the Unreal bridge today this morning and nothing is working i’m still getting this QTcore4.dll error…
I still get this error i have tried everything to get the bridge to work. mean while the bridge to Unity works fine so since Unreal doesn’t want my business i will move my projects to Unity since the bridge works in that editor.
Thanks for nothing from this community who knows Nothing on this subject and if you do you’re not helping.
To prove my point everything works fine in Unity Daz3D works perfectly with the most recent version of Unity which is highly stable and works better than the Unreal bridge.
Everything works perfectly in Unity so why is it not working in Unreal 5.
Unity is way easier just look how easy it is to assign materials and textures compared to Unreal.
You just extract all textures & materials to you’re imports from an export file or named file of the base file… Too Easy!
That’s it done model is ready to work with in editor with all textures that you exported in two clicks.
Now why can’t Unreal have a simple setup like this that works every time, not to mention the Unreal editor settings are confusing compared to Unities functions that are so much easier to read & understand from the data trees & layout of information plus ease of access to import functions & features.
Unreal still doesn’t Export on a simple naked character with no added hair or other clothing props, it should take seconds like it once used to in 4.27 but now all i get is this for months since the release of version 5 to market!
You have killed all my projects in Unreal made me wade through tons of
forums for ZERO fixes or feedback on this issue. You’re support on this problem sucks.
Not one of you can explain why this would happen or suggest a real fix but yet you’re all experts on millions of dollars HOW!.
