Daz 3D (or Reallusion) products in Unreal Engine game - how is the experience?

Does anyone here use models / assets from Daz 3D in an Unreal Engine game? If so, how has your experience been?

What kind of assets do you use (character models, props, etc)?

What is your workflow like? Do you import the assets in something like Blender / Max first?

Any demo reel / links where I can see them in action?

I came across something called “Daz to Unreal 4 Bridge”. Do you use it? Have you found it to be useful for your workflow?

If you use an alternative product like Reallusion Character Creator, please share your experience as well.

I have not personally used Daz but I subscribe to a youtube channel that seems to have a lot of info about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxDxZvakz54

The channel is Smart Poly in case the link gets destroyed.

Hi, i use both daz that reallusion product. Daz for create content because the props and enviroment or character
cost less if you are Platinum club member. Iclone or reallusion product are commercial if you want import object into project reallusion but is very good for animation and rendering. Now there is live link free for indie house, for iclone that allow to syncrhonise the animation and transfert, with collision and shader, all in unreal. But if you don’t are a modeler, you have to purchased product, or software, after with unreal you program with blueprint and other instrument. To have daz and reallusion expand your field of artist.
Sorry for my english
Greetings

Thank you both for your replies. I appreciate it.

Wanted to pop in and say that Daz is having a good sale on license for their products. If you need the interactive license from them then now is a good time to get it.

Those product follow ‘Razor and Blade Model’ .](Razor and blades model - Wikipedia)For making human model I would never recommend those two to even an enemy (have use them for some years). In the long run you would be better off with modifying the default model with the 3dmax, zbrush, houdini, or even make human.

Daz3D to Unreal Bridge is pretty Awesome. However, **Daz3d Genesis 8 TwistBones has PROBLEMs with IK**. The Limb Twist Bone { lrThighTwist, lrForearmTwist, lrShldrTwist } are Bending and distorting IK handling. I want to lock these bones in place with no bending. Video Attached. Still looking for a solid solution to this prob.
