I’ve been tinkering with the device and it is working fine for me. What is happening is really weird, but I could probably find out the problem if you provide a little bit more info!
Please, send me a screenshot of your Island Settings for the section World/Ambiance. This is to discard you are using a setting there that is causing the issue!
