Datasmith Plugin will not sync Spotlights from Rhino 3D

In my Rhino 3D model, I create everything needed for the project. This starts with plants, which are inserted as blocks covered with a 2D texture to already give a good impression within Rhino and to be usable for conceptual renderings.

I would like the Datasmith exporter to recognize blocks properly during synchronization. A block made of six surfaces, for example, will result in the replacement object being inserted six times in Twinmotion. So I end up with the object duplicated six times in the TM project.

I also create the light sources like spotlights in Rhino and align them correctly. My idea was to later replace these spotlights in Twinmotion with IES lights. I was hoping that the light sources would then also be replaced with the correct orientation. Unfortunately, light sources in Rhino are considered “phantom objects” and are not synchronized.

Previously, I used spheres as helper objects to mark light positions, but the lights in Twinmotion were replaced with the usual 45-degree default orientation.

I’m looking for a solution that allows me to define the orientation of light sources directly in Rhino so that Twinmotion can adopt this information. Adjusting light sources in Twinmotion is not particularly convenient.

Thanks
