Datasmith plugin not working in UE5

The datasmith plugin only claims to work in UE4 in the epic games launcher. Online it says it works with UE5 but when I download it from the website nothing changes in the launcher.

Since 4.24, if I remember correctly, the datasmith plugins are shipped with the engine.
You just need to make sure the ones you need are enabled: Datasmith importer, Datasmith CAD importer, Datasmith runtime, etc…
Also the button has moved in the UI:
