Datasmith not working in 3ds max

Hi!
I have a problem with datasmith for 3ds max.
When I open the datasmith panel in 3dmax and click on export or on export selections, nothing happens.
That is, these keys are literally there, but absolutely no reaction.
In the list of plugins 3ds max datasmith is present and works correctly.

Plugin Datasmith for 3ds max reinstalled several times, all to no avail. I also tried different versions of max - 2021 and 2023. At the same time, the plugin itself is correctly installed and displayed in the 3ds max plugin manager. Everything works perfectly with Datasmith for Archicad.
Unreal 5.1.0 and 5.0.3 itself also have Datasmith installed.

Reinstalled datasmith several times.

Hi, I’m also having this issue with max 2023 and all versions of datasmith I try, I have checked the registry etc but there are no keys to delete. Anyone got any suggestions?

If anyone else comes across this- in the ribbon settings, right click the ribbon in max, reset to default. that fixed it!
