Datasmith no longer works with Autodesk Alias wire file

Wire file import was working fine just a few month ago, and it stopped working recently, unreal engine just crashes without report window after I the click import button.

UE version: 5.5

Autodesk Alias version : 2025 and 2026

Tried with simple sphere geometry but it just crashes. happened on both machine in the office.

Which UE 5.5 are you using? 5.5.4?

When you speak about the Autodesk Alias version, can you confirm that is the version of the Alias software installed on your machine?

UE 5.5 should work with Alias 2025, it will not with Alias 2026.

You will need at least UE 5.6.1 to work with Alias 2026.
