I have tried to install the Datasmith plugin for UE5 multiple times with the same error. No compatible engine installed. Everything I see says the two are compatible but I cant seem to get it to work. I am using Windows.
The Datasmith importer plugin has been integrated in the engine for a while now and you do not need to install the marketplace plugin.
Check in your project plugins manager and enable the Datasmith plugins from here.

I’m getting same error for UE 5.1
So, will it get updated or are there any other plugin in development stage?
If you speak about the “Datasmith plugin” as @Antoine_Guillo said it is in the engine since years. There will be no more update of the marketplace plugin.
The plugin should be in your list of plugins in your editor.
