Datasmith lose bump and displacement maps when exporting fomr 3DS Max

Hello, i’m trying with no success to export all the material informations from Max, but it won’t at all or make it completely wrong.

I’m trying with a simple carpet made in Corona (doesn’t matter if Legacy or Physical) with a diffuse and a displacement map, but it won’t export both.

If i simplify the diffuse it work, but there’s no way to get the bump/displacement at all.
That’s what i get inside TM

Other models sometimes generate some sort of normal map, but it’s completely flat and a blocky pixelated splotch:
Max render:

Datasmith exported:

Textures are id inverted and normals are completely wrong.

How actually work? If i try to rebuild materials inside Tm with the actual maps it doesn’t work either.
Thank for anyone that can help me.

Hi!
There is no displacement support in Twinmotion as of yet. Datasmith doesn’t import displacement maps for this reason. It only imports normal maps. Depending on the source, it could be flipped, but this can be fixed easily by checking the “Invert normals” checkbox.
Twinmotion does support parallax occlusion, but this only creates “fake” depth. You can input the displacement map manually in the parallax input of the material.
