Datasmith Imports are not as they should be?

I would have thought that exporting a 3d view to datasmith would export that specific view as it is set up.
But after going through the trouble of setting up an interior view with a camera, exporting to datasmith, and importing into TM 2025, I’m getting a completely different 3d view. It’s the view of the entire exterior of the house??
I know I can go in and re set up the interior view in TM but I don’t think I should have to.
Also, I added a ceiling, (1/2" gyp board), and lights in Revit 2025 before exporting and the import has all of the lights hovering in space with a transparent ceiling.
Help!

HI Vanderloo5 and thank you for reaching out,

Datasmith is not importing the camera view as such but more what is in the view. So yes, there’s a chance you will need to reposition your view inside TM. Having said that, it’s a great suggestion, and you should share it with the development team here by submitting an idea.

Transparent geometry is usually related to a flipped face. Select the ceiling in the scene graph and click on the eyedropper tool. Click again on the asset. On the right side panel, under the material, navigate all the way to misc—> enable two-sided. That should fix your ceiling.

I hope this helps!
