Datasmith for revit - metadata missing

I’ve been looking all day fora solution this an found nothing. I cant get the metadata from revit to come thru to UE4 I’ve tried UE 4.21 and 4.22 and i’m using revit 2018.3.2 . I’ve double checked that the correct plugin is installed for 4.21 then uninstalled it and installed he one for 4.22. I select an object that i know should have meta data and , in details, there isn’t even a data smith category is there a fix for this? All i found is that it works in revit 2017 and revit 2019. Problem is, I cant use revit 2019 or revit 2020 yet, and i cant use Revit 2017 because my model is in r2018. any suggestions?

Hi there, I am very new at Datasmith, so this question might sound stupid but what do you mean metadata? On the other hand, I am having trouble with FPS, is there any specifics for this and Revit files’s characteristics?

this is weird. can you check if the word metadata appears in the datasmith file once loaded in notepad?

that will help us determine if it’s an export issue or an import issue
