Been trying to install Datasmith / 3DS MAX (UnrealDatasmithMaxExporter_5_0_2) for the past 3 hours and keep getting error 2503 and can’t install.
CMD does not work,
admin permission does not work,
explorer permission does not work,
and many more I’ve been trying left and right just won’t work.
Here they say it might be because of permission on temp folder but seem not your case at it is still doing even as admin.

could you try running in CMD with specific command to get a log file that might give more details:
msiexec /i C:\Path_to_MSI\UnrealDatasmithMaxExporter_5_0_2.msi /lvx* Install.log
