Datasmith for 3ds Max 2041.1 Error

Hello,

I’m trying to install Datasmith in my PC, but it can’t find any 3ds max version installed (see image below). I’m running 3ds Max 2024.1 on a Windows 11. I’ve already tried to to install “UnrealDatasmithMaxExporter_5_1_1.msi” and “UnrealDatasmithMaxExporter_5_2.msi”, but I had no luck at all.

How should I fix this error?

3DSMax 2024 is not supported by Datasmith exporters 5.1 or 5.2 you will have to wait for 5.3.

If you cannot wait you can temporarily use this unofficial one 3ds max 2024? - #6 by UE_FlavienP
